そして出てきた案が、「なのつ」。
すぐぴんとくる方もいらっしゃると思います。
そう、博多港の古名です。
拙宅は博多ではないのですが、福岡県内にあります。
それと、ワタシの名前の字を入れて、ちょっと開いて奈のつ。
麗絲は、レースが日本に入ってきた時の漢字表記だったようです。
レースは糸の動きをしっかり見て工夫しながら、研究のようにこつこつと仕事を重ねていきます。
そういった意味で、「奈のつ麗絲研究室」と名付けました。
糸を絲にしたのは、たくさんの糸をつなぎ合わせて、という意味を込めて。
まだまだ始めたばかり、トーションをようやく終えてブルージュフラワーに入ったところですが、これからも楽しくレース研究をしていきたいです。
When starting this blog, I consulted with one of my my family members about the blog name.
The suggestion that came up was “Nanotsu.”
Some of you might recognize it right away.
Yes, it’s the ancient name of Hakata Port.
Although I don’t live in Hakata, I’m within Fukuoka Prefecture.
And by incorporating the character from my name, it becomes “Na no Tsu.”
“Lace” (麗絲) appears to be the kanji representation which was used then lace was first introduced to Japan.
Lace-making involves carefully observing thread movements and steadily building up work like research, making improvements along the way.
With that meaning in mind, I named it “Nanotsu Lace Laboratory.”
I used the character “絲” for thread instead of “糸” to represent the meaning of connecting many threads together.
I’m still just a novice, having just finished torchon lace and starting to work on Bruges flowers, but I hope to continue enjoying my lace research going forward.
En commençant ce blog, j’ai consulté un membre de ma famille concernant le nom du blog.
La suggestion qui est venue était “Nanotsu.”
Certains d’entre vous le reconnaîtront peut-être immédiatement.
Oui, c’est l’ancien nom du Port de Hakata.
Bien que je ne vive pas à Hakata, je suis dans la Préfecture de Fukuoka.
Et en incorporant le caractère de mon nom, cela devient “Na no Tsu.”
“Lace” (麗絲) semble être la représentation en kanji qui était utilisée lorsque la dentelle a été introduite pour la première fois au Japon.
La fabrication de dentelle implique d’observer attentivement les mouvements du fil et de construire progressivement le travail comme une recherche, en apportant des améliorations en cours de route.
Avec cette signification à l’esprit, je l’ai nommé “Laboratoire de Dentelle Nanotsu.”
J’ai utilisé le caractère “絲” pour fil au lieu de “糸” pour représenter la signification de connecter plusieurs fils ensemble.
Je ne suis encore qu’une novice, ayant juste terminé la dentelle torchon et commençant à travailler sur les fleurs de Bruges, mais j’espère continuer à profiter de ma recherche sur la dentelle à l’avenir.
